The company was founded in 2014 when three University of Cambridge students met in a bar after a technology conference. After much work and discussion, we decided to call the company Ubisor Tech, which is short for Ubiquitous Sensor Technology. The name reflects our beliefs - that sensor networks will form a large part of the future civilisation, generating values for all walks of lives from boardroom managers to newly-borned infants.
Meet the team behind Ubisor Tech:
Zhihua Wang is a technology innovator in computer software and hardware. He studied BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester, and MPhil in Wireless Power Transmission at the University of Cambridge. Before the company was founded, he worked in a variety of companies, including State Grid of China, China Development Bank, China Central Television and Haitong Innovation Capital. Currently as a research student in Cambridge, his interests are in high accurate positioning sensor design, communication channel in hazard environment and cloud sensor data storage. Zhihua is also an extreme sports lover, he is a big fan of parachuting, rowing and snowboarding.
